About Us

Originally founded as the "Chuck Hardwick Fence Company" in 1983 by Chuck and Judy Hardwick, the company remains the oldest fence contractor in St. Augustine, America's oldest city. In 2001, Charlie Stinchfield bought the company and expanded the fence only product line to include automatic estate gates and gate service. In 2005, we moved to our new office and warehouse in St. Augustine, FL near the intersection of Interstate 95 (exit 318) and State Road 16. Throughout our rapid growth we have remained committed to the same goal - to be the most trusted, highest quality, estate gate and fence contractor in Florida backed by the most professional and dedicated service department in the industry.

Charles Stinchfield, President

Charlie has over 35 years of business experience. After spending 15 years with IBM, he then owned and operated a cedar fence mill and ran several other companies in New England and Florida. Charlie has been President of Chuck Hardwick Fence & Gates since 2001 and is committed to delivering the best products and services to our valued customers.

Son Vuong, Operations Manager & Sales Representative

Son has over 12 years of Business Management and Customer experience. After spending 10 years with Office Depot, Son joined the company in August 2006 as Operations Manager and Sales. Son is committed to providing ideal fence and gate solutions to meet the needs of each individual customer.

Jerry Brubaker, Sales

Jerry was a pro golfer who became a successful businessman. He has worked with customers across a variety of industries and has a wealth of experience in the construction and housing industry. Jerry has been a part of the Chuck Hardwick team since 2002.

Beverly Gordon, Office Manager

For as young as Beverly is, its hard to believe that she has 26 years of experience in the fencing business. In 2002, Beverly came to Chuck Hardwick Fence & Gates from Master-Halco. Beverly not only manages the office but she is also responsible for maintaining our customer's Gate Access Database Management System.
